Guwahati: A woman along with her lover was arrested by Karnataka police for allegedly killing her teen son in Bengaluru.
The deceased was identified as Nandu.
According to reports, Nandu was killed for objecting to his mother’s illicit relationship with Sakthi, who was said to be her lover.
The police officials informed that Geetha got introduced to Shakthi on social media and later it turned into a relationship. The lover used to visit her place often.
The 16-year-old boy fought with her mother to entertain an unknown person at home. Later Shakthi was informed of Geetha’s son’s behavior. Shakthi, in turn, devised a plan to murder Nandu, which mother Geetha agreed to, officials claimed.
On Tuesday, Shakthi went to Geetha’s house and argued with the victim. He was stabbed in the abdomen and chest by the accused. While attempting to flee, the police apprehended him and detained his mother, Geetha.
It may be mentioned that following a dispute in the family the accused Geetha was living separately from her husband for at least six years with her two children and use to do house courses in the neighborhood for living, reports claimed.
However, further investigation is still on in the case.
