Guwahati: Personal Assistant (PA) of Assam’s Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu was arrested by the Dispur Police on Thursday on allegations of him allegedly raping a girl.
Education Minister Ranoj Pegu’s PA identified as Lakhi Gogoi was arrested based on a complaint that he had allegedly sexually assaulted a girl recently. He was arrested from Japorigog and has already been forwarded to judicial custody.
