Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, Assam Police arrested one person from Baksa district on Tuesday.
The suspected Veteran Drug Peddler was arrested from the Simlaguri village of the district and recovered around 51.2gm suspected Heroin from his possession.
Moreover, the officials informed that the suspected heroin was kept in soap boxes and despite this, six vials, a case amount of Rs.4000, one mobile handset, and a two-wheeler were recovered from the accused.
