Guwahati: Delhi Police in a major breakthrough apprehended a notorious drug mafia from the Northeast on Friday.
The accused has been identified as Kashim Ali. Ali is said to be the kingpin of an inter-state drugs cartel.
According to reports, Ali was responsible for smuggling heroin consignments from Manipur to Guwahati, Siliguri, and Malda.
Moreover, he also smuggles other parts of the country from Manipur.
