Guwahati: Assam Police busted fake currency racket in Biswanath district on Saturday.
According to reports, one fake currency making machine and one air tight bundle with a layer of Indian fake Currency notes of Rs. 500 denomination were recovered.
Successful raids were conducted at the permanent residence of one Pabitra Khound at Rongamuri village under Biswanath police station.
However, the accused is currently in police custody and further investigation into the matter is underway.
