Guwahati: Assam Police once again arrested five persons in connection with cattle smuggling in Assam’s Nagaon district.
The arrestees were identified as Saddam Hussain of Mairabari, Marigaon, and Arif Khan of Doomdoma, Tinsukia.
The accused were arrested while they were on their way to slaughterhouses across borders. The police recovered around 35 cattle from the accused.
