Guwahati: Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Ayodhya on Wednesday and offered puja at the Ram Mandir with his family.
According to reports, CM Sarma was also present in Varanasi with PM Modi and participated in the Chief Ministers’ meet with the PM where all the chief ministers of the BJP ruled states met PM Modi. They discussed the different developmental schemes for the states.
CM Sarma arrived at Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh yesterday and today he visited the Ram Mandir and offered prayer to Lord Ram at Hanumangiri with his family at around 11 a.m.
It may be mentioned that not only CM Sarma but the Chief Ministers of other states such as Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Gujrat Haryana, and Goa l also offered their prayers at Ayodhya.
