Krafton updates PUBG: New State as the game surpluses 45 million downloads
Guwahati: Krafton has revealed PUBG: New State’s first major post-launch update as the game crosses more than 45 million downloads globally. Survivor pass volume 2 has been made available and the players are allowed to unlock a variety of new in-game rewards. New vehicles, a new weapon, gun customization options and more have been added to the new free-to-play next-generation mobile battle royale game from PUBG Studios.
This first major update for PUBG: New State is playable now for Android and iOS users. To celebrate the winter holiday season, a new lobby theme has been introduced. The Survivor Pass is based on the in-game character Bell, who is part of the Dream Runners Faction and the players will be able to complete a variety of “story missions” to earn all of Bella’s costumes. Furthermore, players can upgrade to a Premium Pass to earn additional vehicles skins and characters costumes as well as earn back 1,500 NC upon reaching Level 48 of the pass.
The players are able to obtain the L85A3, a new assault rifle with low recoil with the new update.
In order to promote positive play among the players, a new Merit Point System is introduced and if the players are reported for negative behaviors, they will lose Merit Points which if falls below a specific threshold will not be able to play Squad Mode until they increase their total Merit Points over time through Solo play.
