Guwahati: Assam Police arrested four persons reportedly for running Teer racket in Guwahati.
The four arrestees were identified as Ram Dayan Rajgar, Manik Ch Haloi, Prasanta Kar & Ram Lachhan.
A team from West Guwahati Police Department of Bharalumukh Police Station raided an illegal Teer set up at Fatashil Bazaar and arrested four persons.
The officials further recovered an amount total of Rs 12,920, 10 Teer books, and other documents from their possession.
The police also seized two mobile phones recovered from them.
Further investigation is on.
