Guwahati: Assam Police arrested eight persons reportedly for running Teer racket in Guwahati.
The accused were arrested while conducting a raid against a Teer gambling den in the Bamunimaidam Railway Colony area.
During the raid, the police personnel recovered Teer tickets, registers, vouchers, 6 mobile phones, 3 calculators.
The officials further recovered an amount total of Rs 29, 915 from their possession.
Legal action has been initiated and further investigation is underway.
