Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police busted a drug racket and arrested four women along with two men in Assam’s Karimganj district.
In an operation launched against drugs in Badarpur town of the district the police officials apprehended the accused in Humsafar express at Badarpur Railway station who were carrying Ganja hidden in packets neatly inside their clothing.
The police further recovered an amount of 18.5 Kg cannabis from their possession.
Legal action has been taken by the officials and further investigation is underway.
