Guwahati:Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi said that the Centre is allegedly employing the Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax, and other agencies to oppress us but Punjab will retaliate. Channi made the statement in response to recent raids at his relative’s home.
“The central government uses the ED, income tax, and other agencies… the revolution began in these states, whether West Bengal or Punjab. Delhi is attempting to suffocate (us), but Punjab will retaliate “”Channi” stated.
CM Channi, speaking to a press conference, said, “ED reportedly said, “Don’t forget PM Modi’s Ferozepur visit.” The word ‘revenge’ comes to mind while thinking about this operation. My nephew was interviewed for 24 hours in order to incriminate me… The agency did not receive any evidence against me.”
“PM Modi had no choice but to return, but it is I who will bear the brunt of the consequences,” Channi remarked.
“Every effort is being made to destroy Congress’ campaign ahead of the election,” he stated.
Channi added, “If the election commission had to conduct free and fair elections in Punjab, I implore it to interfere. We don’t tolerate politics of vengeance. ”
“The Prime Minister had to attend the rally, but the seats were empty, so he had to return, so what was my fault? Why is there a conspiracy to slander Punjab when farmers have done nothing? Efforts are being made to prevent our people from contesting elections… I’m not going to hit my farmers with sticks “he further stated.
