Guwahati: A dead body of a 50-year-old man was recovered from a drain near the Odalbakra area of Guwahati on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Ramchandra Betha is a resident of Bihar.
According to reports, his body was found lying in a drain near his shop.
Reports further claimed that he was a washerman in the area.
However, he had been living in the Odalbakra area for the past 22 years.
Meanwhile, the body has been sent for post mortem and further investigation into the matter is underway.
It may be mentioned that the reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained.
