Guwahati: A woman has been allegedly killed after being hit by a train in Nagaon district of Assam on Tuesday.
The incident took place in Dhing town of the district.
It has been suspected that the woman was crossing the railway track when the train hit her.
However, identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Police reached the site and sent the body for post-mortem reports.
