Minister Parimal Suklabaidya Inaugurates 5 Model High Schools in Assam’s Karimganj
Guwahati: Assam Minister for Environment, Forest, Excise and Fisheries, Parimal Suklabaidya, inaugurated five TE Model High Schools in Karimganj district.
Suklabaidya said the opening of 96 model high schools in tea gardens for the tea community across the state signals a new era in the annals of education as he inaugurated the Dullabcherra TE Model High School and Goombhira TE Model High School under Ratabari LAC.
Suklabaidya inaugurated three model high schools in the tea garden areas: Bubrighat TE Model High School, Pathini TE Model High School, and Sefinjuribeel TE Model High School under Patharkandi LAC in the presence of MP Kripanath Mallah, MLA Krishnendu Paul, and other dignitaries.
He stated that the current government, led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has given top attention to the education sector in order for all sections of society to advance in all spheres of life.
The Minister, who is also the Karimganj district’s Guardian Minister, said the big turnout demonstrated people’s and students’ support for the BJP-led government and reiterated their faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aim of striving for excellence in all fields.
He urged the representatives of the people to work for the pupils’ complete development at these schools.
The Minister also planted saplings in the school premises on the occasion.
