Guwahati: In yet another sensational incident, a dead body was recovered under mysterious circumstances in Janata Bhawan’s bus stand of Guwahati on Saturday.
The incident took place at around 11: 30 AM.
According to reports, the body was found lying dead at the back of the steel bench present in the Janata Bhawan’s bus stop, directly in front of the Janata Bhawan’s petrol pump while coming or landing from Ganeshguri and Bhangagarh’s side and it appeared the man was tied on the neck to the railing of the back wall.
The incident was witnessed by some individuals nearby and reported it to the Dispur police officials.
Later, the body was sent for a post-mortem examination and no further information has been obtained as the inquiry continues.
