Guwahati: In a sensational incident, a youth from Assam reportedly died in Gujarat after jumping off a train that was moving.
The youth has been identified as Pranjal Medhi, a resident of Bhatipara in Sualkuchi town of Kamrup district.
According to the deceased’s family, Medhi left his house on June 22 to travel to Gujarat in order to work at a private company.
According to the police, the youth died after sliding off of a moving train, according to the authorities. On Saturday, the Ahmedabad Railway Police located and recovered his body, which is now at the Ahmedabad Police Station.
The police station’s staff has contacted Medhi’s family members and told them of the occurrence.
Family members of Medhi are currently preparing to return the body to Sualkuchi, where he was born.
