Maha Pol Crisis: Devendra Fadnavis Meets JP Nadda in Delhi

Guwahati: BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis met with BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda at his residence in Delhi, while the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra is still in crisis.

Several reports claim that Fadnavis informed Nadda of the state’s ongoing political developments.

Fadnavis travelled to Delhi following a Monday meeting of the BJP’s Maharashtra unit’s core committee to assess the political climate in the state. A total of 48 rebel MLAs of Maharashtra including 39 rebel MLAs of Shiv Sena are staying at Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati since June 22.

Meanwhile, Rebel Shiv Sena MLA who is currently camped out at a hotel in Guwahati of Assam claimed to have the support of 50 other MLAs and that he will soon travel back to Mumbai. When addressing to media, Shinde stated: “Shiv Sena is what we are in, and we are moving Shiv Sena ahead. There should be no room for question. When we decide on our next steps, we’ll let you know. I’ll soon be in Mumbai.”
