Guwahati: In a sensational incident, a youth was allegedly murdered in cold blood by his own friends in Golaghat district of Assam on Thursday night.
The incident was reported from Murfuloni tea estate in Numaligarh of the district.
The deceased youth identified as Kartik Gaur.
According to reports, Gaur was killed by three of his friends on grounds of suspected mobile theft.
After receiving information of the crime, local police arrested the trio from the district.
The arrested individuals identified as Deep, Debarun Bhuyan and Rohit Tautit.
