Assam CM Sarma Visits Hyderabad to Participate in BJP National Executive Meet
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma arrived in Hyderabad late on Friday in order to take part in the two-day BJP National Executive meeting beginning on Saturday (July 2).
“Felt like a homecoming! The warmth of the people of Telengana reflected in the enthusiastic welcome by karyakartas and senior leaders of @BJP4Telangana at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad humbled me,” the CM tweeted.
The two-day Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive meeting will start in Hyderabad today.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of 19 states and other senior BJP members will all be present at the gathering at the Hyderabad International Convention Center.
The entire city of Hyderabad has been painted saffron in preparation for the BJP’s big spectacle. The central government’s accomplishments are displayed on the posters. Large cut-outs and banners of prominent BJP leaders are displayed in every nook and crevice of the city.
Meetings of the national general secretaries and national office bearers followed by the national executive meeting will be held on July 2 and a public meeting will be held at the Parade Ground on July 3 with the address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A top BJP leader claims that the meeting’s main agenda item will be the party’s growth. They will also talk about the locations where more party employees need to be hired.
“A national executive committee is being conducted in Hyderabad after 18 years. The city has decorations. National leaders, chief ministers, and other officials are touring 119 districts where a sizable public gathering is scheduled for July 3. We anticipate a sizable crowd, ” Telangana BJP spokesperson NV Subhash said while quoted by ANI.
There will be a photo show including the senior leaders and images from significant events like the previous national executive meeting at 6 pm today.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to arrive in Hyderabad and will probably speak at the gathering on July 2.
“PM Modi will arrive in Begumpet tomorrow. There will be a public reception ” added NV Subhash.
“The national executive meeting will begin at 3 p.m. and go until July 3 at night. On July 3, at 6.30 p.m., the prime minister will arrive at Parade Ground, the location of a sizable gathering and public address. These three days will have an influential effect, causing people to support the BJP,” said NV Subhash.
