Guwahati: In yet another sensational incident, a body of an unidentified man was recovered under mysterious circumstances in Deepor Beel area of Guwahati on Sunday morning.
The body was recovered near Matiya village of the area.
According to reports, the locals first spotted the body and informed the police officials.
On getting information, the Azara police officials arrived at the spot and recovered the body.
As per police officials, the deceased seemed to be around 27 years of age.
Locals suspect that some miscreants allegedly murdered the victim and left the body beside the railway tracks.
Police officials further said that the exact cause of his death will be ascertained after post-mortem.
Meanwhile, the police have initiated a probe into the matter. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
