Guwahati: Guwahati Police has arrested the owner of Lenskart showroom in Bora Service area for allegedly being involved with fraud activities on Sunday.
The owner has been identified as Saurav Deb.
According to reports, Deb was taken into custody today by Paltan Bazar police after he jumped parole and tried to flee.
Reportedly, he has always been involved in disagreements and this time he is being accused of embezzling money.
Dev is accused of stealing money totaling Rs 4 crores from Lenskart over the course of three years.
The high court had granted him interim conditional bail. He disobeyed the rules and made an attempt to flee when the police arrested him.
