Guwahati: Assam is likely to experience isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kph, official said on Tuesday.
Moderate rain is very likely to occur at many places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and at most places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
According to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority, thunderstorm with lighting very likely at isolated places over Goalpara, Baksa, Barpeta, Kamrup, Kamrup (M), Darrang, Udalguri, Hojai, West Karbi-Anglong, Biswanath, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji, Jorhat, Sivasagar, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Dima-Hasao, Cachar, Hailakandi, and Karimganj.

Thunderstorm with lighting and heavy rain are very likely at isolated places over Karbi- Anglong, Golaghat, Majuli and Charaideo districts.
It is quite likely that isolated areas of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura will see heavy rain.
