Guwahati: A man allegedly jumped to death from a multi-storied building in Odalbakra area of Guwahati on Friday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Deepjay Bose.
According to reports, Bose jumped from the open window of a room on the 2nd floor of the building. He fell on the ground and died on the spot due to multiple grievous bleeding injuries.
Reportedly, his second wife abandoned him recently. His first wife also left him after which he had a second marriage.
Meanwhile, police are currently attempting to determine why he took such extreme step.
