Guwahati: As many as 10 persons has been injured in a road accident in Cachar district of Assam on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place at National highway no 6 in Katigora area of the district.
According to reports, the accident occurred as the passenger van they were travelling in lost control and collided with a roadside tree in high speed, injuring all of them.
It is learned that the van was en route Silchar from Meghalaya when the accident occurred.
Meanwhile, the injured persons were shifted to a First Referral Unit (FRU) hospital for better treatment.
