Guwahati: A massive fire broke out in Cachar district of Assam on Friday night leading to a dead of a woman.
The incident took place occurred at around 2 pm in Borkhola of Silchar.
The deceased has been identified as 52-year-old Sanatambi Bibi Kaji.
According to reports, the massive fire completely engulfed one house.
It needs to be noted that worth lakhs of rupees and all necessary documents were reportedly engulfed in the fire.
However, the cause of the fire is unknown as of now.
In the incident, another woman was somehow rescued by the locals of the area.
The woman identified as 75-year-old Jalila Bibi Kaji.
