Neeraj Chopra Ruled Out Of CWG 2022 due to injury

Guwahati: Tokyo Olympics gold medalist and ace javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra was ruled out from the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in 2022 on Tuesday.

Chopra has reportedly been ruled out of the CWG 2022 which is set to start on July 28 because he is not entirely healthy.

It may be noted that Birmingham in England, hosted the Commonwealth Games this year.

Rajeev Mehta, the general secretary of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), announced that Neeraj Chopra will not be able to compete at the Commonwealth Games due to a compromised level of fitness.

The talented thrower had just won silver at the 2022 World Athletics Championship, which was hosted in Oregon in America.
