Guwahati: A fake currency note printing machine has been seized by Guwahati Police on Friday.
One woman has been arrested by the Guwahati police in connection with the seizure.
The accused woman identified as Usha Barman.
According to reports, Usha was arrested from her rented apartment in Bamunimaidan area of the city.
Reportedly, fake notes amounting to Rs 21,500 was also seized from the woman.
It is learned that the accused woman owns and operates a beauty salon close to her residence.
Meanwhile, a case has been filed against her in accordance with the pertinent laws at the Chandmari police station.
