Guwahati: In a tragic incident, a mother of three committed suicide in Dhubri district of Assam on Saturday.
The incident took place in Golakganj town of the district.
The woman identified as Fazlima Khatun.
According to reports, Khatun was found hanging from the ceiling.
However, some have questioned whether the incident was a planned murder or suicide.
The woman’s family has alleged that she was tortured and murdered by her in-laws.
The husband’s family denied the allegations and claimed that she committed suicide but they do not know why.
An investigation has been initiated into the matter by the police officials.
