Guwahati: In a major success in a police operation against narcotics, Assam Police arrested a police official posted in Nagaland with illicit drugs in Jorhat district on Sunday night.
The accused Nagaland police official has been identified as APC Rithe.
According to reports, the accused police official was apprehended at Naginijan Tea Estate located in Mariani.
He was reportedly apprehended on Sunday night by the estate’s security personnel.
He was later turned over to the local police for additional legal proceedings.
