Guwahati: A minor girl was recovered dead Sal Bagan in Lumding under Hojai district of Assam.
The deceased of the minor girl was found from Krishna Basti area of the district.
As per her family member, she went for her tution in the evening hours of Monday as she was a student of class 10 but never returned from her tution.
They further stated that she was raped and murdered allegedly.
Reportedly, the police reached the spot and recovered her body.
As per police officials, the exact cause of her death will be known after a post-mortem.
However, the investigation into the matter is underway.
