Guwahati: In yet another sensational incident, a dead body was recovered in Punjabari locality of Guwahati on Friday.
Reportedly, the body of the deceased was found near an under-construction building in front of Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra in the Panjabari locality.
An investigation into the situation was started as soon as a police squad from the Dispur police station reached the spot.
According to police officials, the deceased is being suspected to be a labour who was involved in construction activities.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. The cause of death is also not known yet.
According to police officials, the body was found and submitted for an autopsy to determine the type of crime and the cause of death.
It needs to be mentioned that this is the second such incident since the start of August.
