FBI Raids on Ex US President Donald Trump’s Florida Residence

Guwahati: Former US President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) broke into his safe at his Mar-a-Lago home in the US state of Florida.

However, the law enforcement organisation has not yet provided an official confirmation.

According to reports, the action is apparently connected to a probe into whether Trump had taken sensitive presidential records from the White House to his Florida home.

The former president added that he was “cooperating with the relevant federal agencies” and that the raid on his Palm Beach home was needless and improper. Additionally, he attributed the raid to “radical left Democrats who fervently oppose my bid for the presidency in 2024.”

Such an assault could only occur in impoverished Third-World nations. Sadly, America has joined those nations as one that is extremely corrupt. Even worse, they broke into my safe, he said.

According to US media, Trump was not on the estate at the time of the raid, when the FBI entered the property after executing a search order.

The removal of sensitive documents by Trump to his Florida residence, which the National Archives and Records Administration later recovered, is under investigation by the US Justice Department. As “an ordinary and customary process,” Trump already acknowledged that he had consented to return specific records to the National Archives.

Trump is dealing with a number of legal issues, the majority of which stem from his time in office as president. These issues include missing national documents, an attack on the US Capitol, wire fraud, and meddling with the Georgia election.
