Guwahati: Three Naga terrorists have been apprehended from Silchar in Cachar district of Assam.
Two extremists have been taken into custody in Silchar from a leased home.
They have been identified as Samdankhuyam and Dinpatre Riyam.
Meanwhile, the third militant has been arrested from Jirighat. However, his identity is not being known as of yet.
According to police, the arrested cadres are NNC members. The police had been launching operations to find them since a long time ago. One 9 mm pistol was recovered in the operations.
In the coming days, more such operations will be conducted, as per the police.
