Guwahati: Noted Popular Tokari performer artist from Assam breathed his last at the age of 85.
The well-known performer has contributed his knowledge to a number of well-known Tokari tunes over the years.
Khanikar passed away at his residence at Sukanpukhuri in Demow of Sivasagar district of Assam.
However, the folk music world has been overcome with grief as a result of his demise.
