Children Attend Training Session On Tiranga Making In Assam’s Kokrajhar

Guwahati: The district administration of Kokrajhar started a training session on Tiranga making in the district’s Anganwadi centres and schools in an effort to support the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign even further.

The effort is made to inspire children to create their own flags. Young infants through older children were encouraged to make the tricolour.

The older youngsters used cloth to create their flags, while the younger ones used paper.

To oversee the training and encourage the efforts of the students, the Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner Varnali Deka visited schools under Anganwadi Centres. The schools include, Rupnath Brahma LP School, Patharghat School, Kokrajhar Girls HS School, Kokrajhar and Titaguri High School, Kokrajhar.

The commissioner additionally exhorted all students to participate in the effort to mark India’s 75th anniversary of independence by raising flags in their residence from August 13 to August 15.

The national flag code and tiranga were also taught to the children.
