Comedian Raju Srivastava On Ventilator Support at AIIMS After Suffering Heart Attack
Guwahati: Comedian Raju Srivastava had a severe heart attack and had angioplasty on Wednesday. He is currently receiving ventilator support.
A source told ANI that Raju had an angioplasty on Wednesday and that he is “responding to the therapy.”
Raju Srivastava had a heart arrest while exercising on Wednesday morning. He allegedly experienced chest trouble while exercising on the treadmill. He will remain under observation for a few days while he heals before being released.
More information is awaited in this regard while his supporters pray for his wellbeing.
Speaking about the comedian’s career, Raju is best known for featuring in several films, including ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Bombay to Goa’, and ‘Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya’. He also appeared in the third season of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’. After performing as a stand-up comedian on the show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’, he came into the limelight for his great comic timing.
