Guwahati: India reports 15,815 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
This was informed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), on Saturday.
And with this, the country’s active caseload has gone up to 1,19,264.
Reportedly, the new cases were discovered from a total of 3,62,802 tests performed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 87.99 crores.

Notably, the number of active cases has decreased to 0.27 percent, while the recovery rate has increased to 98.54 percent. The daily positivity rate is 4.36%, and the weekly positivity rate is 4.79%.
The country’s Covid-19 vaccine coverage now stands at 207.71 crore doses administered, with 24,43,064 doses administered in the last 24 hours as part of the nationwide vaccination drive.
