Guwahati: In a yet another shocking incident, a woman was allegedly murdered by her husband in Kokrajhar district of Assam on Saturday.
The incident took place at Gossaigaon town in Haraputa area of the district.
The victim has been identified as Manwara Bibi.
Reportedly, her body was recovered in the bathroom of their residence last night.
The deceased’s family suspected her husband identified as Baser Ali, of murdering her.
Later, the accused was apprehended in connection with the murder. An investigation into the matter has been launched, according to officials.
