Guwahati: Amid Independence Day celebrations, a decomposed body of an unidentified man has been recovered from the College of Veterinary Science in Khanapara area of Guwahati city on Monday.
According to reports, a few students recovered the body inside the college grounds and alerted authorities.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, Dispur police arrived on the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem examination.
