Elon Musk Wants To Buy Manchester United After Twitter Fiasco

Guwahati: Elon Musk has now set his eyes on purchasing English football club Manchester United after a failed attempt to acquire Twitter landed Tesla CEO in a legal spat.

Taking to Twitter, Musk wrote, “To be clear, I support the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party,” followed by “Also, I’m buying Manchester United ur welcome.”

Since his tweet, United fans have been left buzzing, however, some have raised questions over his seriousness, which comes from him retracing on his resolve to acquire the social media platform.

With fans of the football club unhappy with the current American owner Glazer family over underperformance and lack of proper impetus in the past few years, they have called for the club to sold to prospective buyers.

The football team’s fans have demanded that the club be sold to potential purchasers because they are unhappy with the present American Glazer family owners’ underperformance and lack of motivation in recent years.

In light of that, Musk’s tweet is garnering massive responses. A Twitter user commented, “Do you really think he’s gunna buy? Or just talking rubbish.”

Another person made fun of Musk by bringing up his unsuccessful attempt to acquire Twitter and the subsequent court dispute.

“You don’t want it man, trust me This man singed a deal to buy Twitter for USD 44 billion without doing any due diligence then realized it was a bad deal. Backed out, and is being sued,” the user wrote.

It should be remembered that Elon Musk and Twitter are engaged in a legal dispute over Musk’s unsuccessful attempt to buy the firm, which Twitter is now trying to push through.

After Musk tried to back out of the contract to purchase Twitter due to “misrepresentation of false accounts on the service,” both sides are now going to court.

Twitter, on the other side, is attempting to pressure Musk into finalising the agreement by alleging that he sabotaged it since it no longer served his interests.
