Minister Atul Bora Visits Special Court Over Defamation Case
Guwahati: Assam Minister of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Atul Bora visited Special Court over a defamation case filed against him on Saturday.
Atul Bora, the minister for animal husbandry and veterinary care in Assam, went to the Special Court to discuss a defamation case that was brought against him on Saturday.
In 2016, a Dhakuakhana candidate named Dilip Chowdhury, who was later disqualified from the race, accused Minister Bora of defamation.
Reportedly, Asom Gana Parisad and the Bharatiya Janata Party misunderstood each other during that time, which led to Chowdhury’s disqualification.
MLA Ramendra Narayan Kalita and Chairman of the Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation Manoj Saikia were in court with Atul Bora.
Further details are awaited.
