Guwahati: Four persons were killed in a tragic road accident in Cachar district of Assam on Sunday.
The incident took place at National Highway 6 of Katigara area of the district.
The deceased have been identified as Rajan Das, Yasin Ali, Bilal Ahmed and Selim Uddin.
According to reports, four were killed in a head-on collision between a dumper truck and a tempo.
Reportedly, several others were also injured in the mishap.
However, the injured have been shifted to the hospital for further treatment.
