Guwahati: India reported 11,539 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total to 4,43,39,429, while the number of active cases decreased to 99,879, in the past 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of deaths due to Covid-19 has now reached 5,27,332, on Sunday.
According to reports, the national Covid-19 recovery rate is 98.59 percent, and the active cases made up to 0.23% of all infections.
Reportedly, the weekly positivity rate was 3.88 percent, while the daily positivity rate was 3.75 percent and 1.19 percent of cases result in death.
Meanwhile, 4,37,12,218 persons have successfully recovered from the infection.
As per provisional reports till 7 am on Sunday, India’s Covid-19 vaccine coverage has surpassed 209.67 crores and 2,79,10,768 sessions have been used to accomplish this.
The Covid-19 vaccination programme for 12 to 14-year-olds began on March 16, 2022. More than 3.99 Cr adolescents have received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine so far. Similar to that, starting on April 10, 2022, the prophylactic dose was administered to people between the ages of 18 and 59.
