Guwahati: At least 35 people were reportedly injured on Tuesday in Golaghat district of Assam when the passenger bus they were travelling in lost control and fell into a pond.
The bus was carrying more than 40 labourers reportedly lost control and flipped turtle before plunging into the pond.
The accident occurred at Silonijan’s Chakihola road while it was en route Parmeshwari tea garden.
The injured were taken immediately after the incident to a Golaghat civil hospital for better treatment.
