PM Modi To Address National Labour Conference Tomorrow
Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the National Conference of Labour Ministers of all states and union territories on Thursday (August 25) at 4.30 pm via video conferencing.
The two-day conference will be held in Tirupati of Andhra Pradesh, on August 25 and 26 which is being organized by the Union Ministry of Labor and Employment.
The purpose of the Conference is to examine important labor-related topics. It is being held in the spirit of cooperative federalism.
An official release said it will promote more coordination between the federal and state governments in developing better policies and assuring the successful execution of programmes for workers’ welfare.
Four sessions will be devoted to integrating the e-Shram portal for social security programmes in order to provide universal social protection during the conference. – Vision Shramev Jayate @ 2047 with a focus on just and equitable working conditions, social protection for all workers, including gig and platform workers, and gender equality at work. – Swasthya se Samriddhi for improving medical care through ESI hospitals run by state governments and integration with PMJAY.
