Tripura: Rajib Bhattacharya Appointed New BJP Chief

Guwahati: Rajib Bhattacharjee has been apointed to lead the new Tripura Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president on Thursday.

On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh minister Bhupendra Chaudhary was appointed the state’s BJP chief.

The appointments will go into effect right away.

A letter signed by party’s national general secretary Arun Singh read, BJP’s national president JP Nadda has appointed Rajeev Bhattacharya as the new Tripura party chief.

Chief Minister Manik Saha previously served as the state’s BJP president.

Swatantra Dev Singh, who was appointed a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, will be replaced by Chaudhary, who is now the Panchayati Raj Minister under the Yogi Adityanath administration.
