BJP Prez JP Nadda Chairs Meeting On Arrival In Tripura

Guwahati: The state office bearers meeting was presided over by Jagat Prakash Nadda, national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who was in Tripura on Sunday.

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha also participated at the meeting held at the state guest house in Agartala.

Nadda, who is visiting the state for two days, was welcomed at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala this morning by CM Saha and other state BJP leaders and activists.

Following his arrival, the CM and other state-level BJP officials joined the BJP president in listening to Mann Ki Baat by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Reportedly, he would attend many significant meetings in Agartala to discuss tactics for the Tripura assembly elections the following year.

Later in the day, Nadda will also preside over a meeting with BJP Janajati MLAs and MDCs. In the evening, he will also meet with IPFT MLAs. At the state guest house tonight, he will engage with the Tripura Core Committee of the party.

He will go by vehicle to Udaipur on Monday. Throughout this voyage, an abhinandan samaroh will be held at several locations. Near Tripura University, Nadda will decorate the statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

At the revered Matabari Temple in Udaipur, Tripura, he will also worship and participate in Mangala Aarti. He will have a press conference at the party office there later on Monday, and then he will depart for Khwumlung.

Nadda will also speak at the Janajati Janasabha at the Khwumlung TTADC ground.

It should be mentioned that Tripura CM Saha recently met Nadda in New Delhi, where he informed Nadda on the state’s present political climate and organisational initiatives.
