Celebrations Begin after India’s Victory Over Pakistan in Asia Cup 2022

Guwahati: India’s victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 final in Dubai on Sunday by a margin of five wickets sparked celebrations in numerous locations across the nation.

Mumbai witnessed a massive crowd dancing to the beat of the drums as they celebrated India’s triumph over Pakistan. A sizable throng had assembled, and several individuals were waving the national flag as well in Nagpur.

People could also be seen having a good time in Siliguri and Kolkata in West Bengal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the Indian players for their exceptional skill and tenacity.

Taking to twitter, PM Modi wrote, “TeamIndia put up a spectacular all-round performance in today’s AsiaCup2022 match. The team has displayed superb skill and grit. Congratulations to them on the victory.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also praised team India for defeating Pakistan by a margin of five wickets.

“What a superb start by Team India at the #AsiaCup2022. This was such a nail-biting match. Congratulations to the entire team for this amazing victory. Keep it up!” he tweeted.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Pakistan gave India a 148-run goal when they came to bat, which the men in blue were able to reach in the penultimate over.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Hardik Pandya, two of India’s top pacers, each took four and three wickets. Avesh Khan took one wicket, while Arshdeep Singh took two.

India, on the other hand, got off to a very terrible start as they entered the game to chase the mark set by Pakistan, with opener K L Rahul being out on the first ball.
