6 Madhya Pradesh Residents Drown In Ramdaha Waterfall

Guwahati: At least six persons were dead after they drowned in the Ramdaha waterfall in Chhattisgarh’s Korea district.

According to the district magistrate (DM) of Korea district Kuldeep Sharma, all of the victims in the tragedy were citizens of Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh,

According to Sharma, a rescue effort was conducted, and the bodies of six persons were retrieved. Sharma also noted that another person was rescued during the operation.

He said, “A rescue operation was carried out. The bodies of six people have been recovered. All were residents of Madhya Pradesh’s Singrauli.”

Reportedly, the victims all belonged to the same family and they had planned a picnic at the waterfall.

The Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s office tweeted on Sunday that district officials should use search parties and trained divers to look for them as per CM Bhupesh Baghel’s instructions.
